For Sammy.Sammy Gashiano started working at the Italian Restaurant at 16 years old in Rimini Italy. In 1995, he followed his passion to NYC restaurant where he picked up the skills necessary in gourmet food at the hard knock school of fine dining, working his way to master chef in places like Acapella ,Paper Moon Milano and Lorto's. By the time he was 32 year old Sammy established his first restaurant San Marino Downtown Manhattan at 15 Gold Street, after he expand in Staten Island ,Soho and Midtown. Most of the time he spend working on the dining room at one of his restaurants. He can be found at his home in Staten Island NY, playing and spending time with his wife Alda and their three children.

Mike is one of the best loved chefs in NYC. Mike is so into his two passions in life his Family and Food. He worked for long time in Sammy's restaurant in the city. He spend most of his time in Avere restaurant, making fresh pasta, deserts and selecting wines for his wine list.
